Chelsea Taylor is a Senior Account Representative with a focus on AR Management in the Patient Financial Services Department at a major hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She has twenty-four years’ experience in Healthcare Administration where she has served in various roles. In her various roles, Chelsea managed and oversaw vendor management projects, led special team projects and currently serves in a leadership role overseeing a small team in Hospital Billing AR Management. Chelsea holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston Downtown and obtained her certification in Outpatient Medical Coding from the American Academy of Professional Coders.
Chelsea volunteers her time with her church, the Houston Food Bank, and is a member of multiple organizations including the Houston Area Urban League Guild, the Ensemble Theatre Guild, and National Women of Achievement. She has served in roles such as Corresponding and Recording Secretary, Second Vice President, Membership Chair, and served on Community Service, Membership Engagement and Fund Development committees. Chelsea is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Through her volunteerism Chelsea has been recognized and awarded for her commitment to fundraising and community service.
Chelsea is currently working on completion of her master’s degree in healthcare administration at Le Tourneau University. In addition, she is also working on building her business as a Brand Partner with the Young Living Essential Oils Company and as a travel agent.
